Entrepreneurship and Networking
There are four distinct phases in an ambitious entrepreneur’s journey. Let’s review each of these and the appropriate networking platform for each:
1. STRUGGLE
This occurs when the driving force is SATISFACTION and the business model is EXCHANGING TIME FOR MONEY. He’ll end up owning a J.O.B. The shift from unhappy employment to business is that of jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
When the internal driver is or shifts to FREEDOM, he’ll end up building an enterprise that does not depend on his physical presence.
The struggle comes from NOT RECOGNIZING his operating quadrant; and not taking actions in line with what is required to make the paradigm-shift.
Money is often; the most scarce resource at this stage. The Entrepreneur requires the best resources to get him moving, FREE. A COMMUNITY-BASED NETWORK is an excellent option at this stage – if it is available.
2. FLOW
Flow comes from evolving a suitable enterprise model that generates surplus cash – not surplus activity. It indicates a much deeper concurrent connect with LIFE FLOW.
Once he gets moving, and cash flows build up, he is in a position to pay for low-cost services. He is seeking inputs from entrepreneur mentors and looks up to successful entrepreneurs as his role-models; to find his groove and make his mark. 3. SUCCESS
Material Success comes with the Market putting money, where the entrepreneur’s Unique Value Proposition is – through sales, referrals and re-sales.
At this stage, effective BUSINESS NETWORKING is what propels entrepreneurs forward apart from the exhilaration of being able to stand out on his own amongst peers. Becoming a Millionaire, is the most talked-about benchmark, at this level.
4. GREATNESS
Greatness comes, when the Entrepreneur steps up and beyond himself to build and leave a Spiritual Legacy that makes a difference to Larger Society and to the World.
NETWORKING is distinct at each level; and when calibrated accordingly to the right niche – is a grand success.
A CUSTOMIZED MASTERMIND NETWORK built around the entrepreneur is what impels progress at this level. Being a Social Entrepreneur is what the game is about. Becoming a Billionaire in the process, is an accompanying fringe benefit.
