With most friends in business; what else would you expect?
Ronnie Pinto was born in Permude Village, near Bajpai airport, Mangalore. He was the 6th child of a family of 2 boys and 6 girls. He completed his SSC and Electrical Diploma in Mangalore and proceeded to
Bombay.
He first began working in the hotel line and shifted to a job doing electrical work for 2 years. In 1983, he set up an electrical workshop in Evershine Nagar, Malad. He had a number of friends who were in business, some of whom were builders. They encouraged him to set up shop in the Real Estate business. Catholics from his Orlem parish gave him business.
He married Malita in 1995. She continues to be a housewife. Their two sons Royson (15) and Relson (12) are both studying in St. Anne’s, Orlem.
When prodded on what contributed to his smooth success in business he says, the large number of contacts he developed over 25 years in business and the positive word-of-mouth they generated.
What makes him unique? Prompt and courteous service and transacting on clear title deals only.
What made him get into business instead of continuing in a job? Most of my friends are in business and they went all out to ensure I take up business. With their enthusiastic support it was exceedingly easy, he smiles!
