Networking Tip # 2: Giving

Just as you must provide wood for fire; in networking, Giving comes before receiving.

What can you give?
You will be surprised at what you can give; when you apply your mind — and heart to it!
+ Smile at others
+ Make someone comfortable
+ Give company to the ones who are alone
+ Reach out to those who are looking lost
+ Guide those who require directions

Remember small things make a big difference; not because the actions are small; but because the SENTIMENT BEHIND IT TOUCHES.

Be there for others. Remember they are human beings; not things to be used.

By the way, Givers are CHARISMATIC and MAKE history; takers become history.

Lastly, be exceedingly careful of using giving as a networking TECHNIQUE because your manipulation will put you out of the game. Learn to give without expection. Afterall, your right hand must not know what the left hand gives.
